DISCIPLINE AND NO MORE MILK… POOR BRADY GOT NO MILK AND NO LOVE #3

Rose Is Rejecting Him

Brady was still too small to understand why love could suddenly feel cold.

Only yesterday, he believed Rose was his whole world. Every time he cried, he searched for her warm belly. Every time he felt afraid, he reached for her arms. To Brady, mother meant safety. Mother meant milk. Mother meant comfort when the forest became too loud, too bright, and too scary.

But today, everything was different.

Rose stood above him on the old stone wall, her body close, but her heart seemed far away. Brady stretched his tiny hands toward her, his little mouth open in a desperate cry. He wanted milk. He wanted to be held. He wanted the love he had always known.

But Rose refused.

Again and again, Brady tried to move closer. His tiny fingers gripped the edge of the wall as he looked up at her with confused eyes. He did not understand discipline. He did not understand growing up. He only understood hunger, fear, and the pain of being pushed away by the one he trusted most.

Rose lowered her head and watched him carefully. Maybe she was tired. Maybe she believed it was time for Brady to learn how to survive without depending on her every moment. In the monkey world, lessons can be harsh. A mother’s rejection can sometimes be a way of teaching her baby strength.

But for Brady, it felt like punishment.

His little face twisted with sadness. He cried louder, hoping Rose would change her mind. He leaned toward her chest, searching for milk, but Rose blocked him. The more he begged, the firmer she became.

No milk.

No soft hug.

No gentle comfort.

Brady’s tiny body slipped slightly as he clung to the wall, still looking up at his mother. His eyes were full of questions that no one could answer. Why did Rose not want him close? Why did the place that once gave him warmth now feel impossible to reach? Why did love suddenly come with rejection?

The forest around them stayed bright and peaceful, but Brady’s small world was breaking. Other monkeys moved nearby, but no one came to comfort him. This was his lesson, and Rose was making sure he faced it.

Still, Brady did not give up.

He reached again.

He cried again.

He hoped again.

Because even when a baby is rejected, his heart still runs back to his mother.

Rose looked away for a moment, as if trying to stay strong. Maybe deep inside, she heard every cry. Maybe she knew Brady was hurting. But she did not bend. She wanted him to learn that life in the troop would not always be gentle. He had to become stronger, braver, and more independent.

But the painful question remains…

Was Rose truly teaching Brady a lesson, or was poor Brady being left without the love he still needed most?

What happened next will make your heart feel even heavier. Brady kept begging for milk, but Rose’s reaction became even more emotional.
