Wow. Look at that . They’re having a conversation with each other. The baby is pissed mom won’t let him have milk and he’s trying to convince her that if she let’s him have milk he want throw anymore tantrums. This is the only time I’ve seen the baby, any baby, talking to his mom after she pulled him away from her.
Momma is not trying to starve Alba , just put her on a schedule. Mom has to take advantage of the daylight to forage for food and to drink , without doing that she won’t be able to provide baby with milk. Once they reach Alba’s age , they get to nurse all night and get one midday meal , if baby wants more , she needs to forage like mom.
If you’ll notice that Anna hasn’t really gotten as big as the other females, especially the higher ranking ones, in some of the other troops. THAT is because Anna is one if the few monkeys that doesn’t exist SOLELY on the sugary foods that the tourists are always handing out. Even more rare, Anna is ALSO one of the very few monkeys that can forage for themselves. She is in better shape because her diet more closely resembles a forest-dwelling long tailed macaque. Anna is a very unique female macaque, and a personal favorite of mine, and I don’t really like monkeys all that much. I find them interesting, but I think the best thing humans can do for these animals is to stay away from them. I know that’s easier said than done, in a lot of cases, too.
Mother knows best we cannot tell a wild Tree rat Mother how to treat her baby theirs a reason why the mother doing this. If this Baby tree rat Monkey was in human hands it would suffer a lot more than it suffering now. It would be in a cage for the rest of it life. or until it got older then it would be return to the other troops and it would be rip to bits and killed. So what we are seen here it how these Tree Rat baby are told what to do and when you do it. They are greed little things and i think the worst thing that could happen to the Tree Rat Baby Monkey is in the human hands.
