The Movement That Changed Everything
At first—
Grandma said nothing.
Because even she didn’t trust what she had just seen.
Her heart started pounding.
Loud.
Heavy.
Her mind raced.
No… that’s not possible.
It can’t be.
It’s just muscle memory… it has to be…
But then—
It happened again.
A small movement.
This time clearer.
His finger curled slightly against Camila’s back.
Grandma’s breath caught.
“Wait…” she whispered.
No one heard her.
The room was already spiraling again.
“Pull her out!”
“This is wrong!”
“She’s not okay!”
“WAIT!” Grandma shouted.
Now everyone stopped.
She stepped closer.
Hands trembling slightly.
Eyes locked on Julián’s hand.
“Look,” she said.
No one understood.
Until they saw it.
The silence that followed…
Was different.
Not confused.
Not chaotic.
But frozen.
Because now—
Everyone saw it.
His hand.
Resting on Camila’s back.
Moved.
Slowly.
Deliberately.
Not falling.
Not twitching.
Moving.
Aunt Maribel covered her mouth and stumbled backward.
“Oh my God…”
Her mother dropped to her knees.
“This… this isn’t real…”
One of the men whispered, “Bodies don’t move like that…”
Another answered quietly—
“No… they don’t.”
Camila finally lifted her head.
Her eyes calm.
Steady.
Certain.
“He told you,” she said softly.
“He said he wasn’t gone.”
Grandma leaned closer.
Closer than anyone else dared.
Her ear near Julián’s chest.
Listening.
Waiting.
And then—
She heard it.
Faint.
Weak.
But there.
A sound.
A rhythm.
A heartbeat.
